one-on-one coaching

We offer one-on-one coaching for SAT and ACT test prep because we know that every student is different. Some students need more help than others, and we want to make sure that everyone gets the most out of our program. With one-on-one coaching, students can raise their scores very quickly. We tailor our approach to each individual student, so we can ensure they are understanding and applying our strategies effectively. The single most important thing when preparing for these tests is practice, practice, practice. With our one-on-one coaching approach, students have an accountability partner who not only helps them through the program but pushes them when they feel like giving up. We know that the SAT and ACT are important factors in the college admissions process, so we want to make sure that our students are prepared.

All You Need To Know

frequently asked questions

The short answer is as many as you need to get your scores. Sometimes our students need only about 5-6 sessions, other students need about 20. Your success is our success so we continue to work together until you get to where you need to be.

There is no fast and hard rule with raising test scores. Some students are able to raise their ACT scores 10-11 points or their SAT scores 300-400 points in as little as 6 weeks. There is no one size approach. Whatever effort the student puts in, they will get back with their results.

Our professional recommendation is take both! See which test makes more sense or you are more comfortable with. As an organization, 80% of our students prefer the ACT over the SAT because it seems to be a more straight forward test. But the best way to figure out which test you want to focus on is by taking it for record.

As of right now, we do not have group coaching available. Twice a year we open for test prep workshops so if you would like to be notified when our workshops open up, please sign up for our newsletter. That is where we announce the sessions.

If you buy our course, all students in your family will have access to the program. We do offer discounts if you enroll more than one student in our one-on-one coaching. Please book a consult if you are interested in multiple students for private coaching.

It will be useful because you will learn the principles and strategies but if you are looking to score high on the PSAT for National Merit purposes, we would highly recommend going with the one-on-one coaching. You will need a more personalize approach if you want to compete on that level.

Yes we do! If you are interested in anything additional to test prep, please book a free consult through our site and speak with one of our team members. They can answer any questions you might have and see how we can help you through that process.

It really depends on the ambitions of the student. For most families, sophomore year is a great time to begin practicing for these tests. If you have a highly ambitious student, you might want to start before their sophomore year. Our biggest piece of advice is to not wait till the end of your junior or senior year to take the test. Start early to ensure the most opportunities.
